I feel like I am back in first grade (we didn't have kindergarten; does that date me or what) learning new things. I was a bit confused by all the different 'names' I had to choose; a title for my page, a user name, a url: when I looked at the completed page for the first time it wasn't what I expected.
After that, I had fun changing the fonts and colors, then revising them when some were too pale to read easily. That's a pet peeve; who ever thought a black page with white type was easy on the eyes? Weren't we all grateful when the microfiche catalog became a thing of the past? (Another dating clue for you blogging anthropologists.)
Doing this while working the Info Desk meant that I have had to go back repeatedly and read the instructions; for example, I wondered why I couldn't create an avatar right on my blog page.
Back to work.

The First Thing on a Stick
My turn to say "how come all the good urls are taken???" -- but at last I found something that wasn't being used.
It will be interesting to see if there is enough time at work to get through all 23 of the Things.
